Hairstyles, snowfall, and the Beatles' beetle

Greetings, fellow Thursdaians!! It has been a cold, but nevertheless quite sunny day here, and here is today's blog post!

so first off, as usual, is today's Topic of the Day!

Now, my hair has no real style, I just leave it in whatever form it is when I wake up (therefore it usually looks quite scruffy), but what role does the hairstyle actually play in the world? Based upon myspace surveys (which are infact, one of the least most reliable sources of information) one of the first things that people notice is someone's hair, labeled right after noticing someone's eyes (which doesn't make sense as you need to be close to a person to see their eyes), but how does that compare to true answers? When asked the question, different people gave different replies, ranging from the simple "somewhat important" to the more poetic "I don't judge a person by the hair, I judge by the heart". And also, there is no perfect hairstyle that will suit everyone, therefore you need to find your own niche and play with it, since not all people will like one single hairstyle

On This Day

1569 - First recorded lottery in England.

1949 - First recorded case of snowfall in Los Angeles, California.

1974 - The world's first surviving set of sextuplets are born to Susan Rosenkowitz in Cape Town, South Africa.

And introducing Someone Else's Corner, where someone else writes a piece for my blog

kay so gimboid has been harassing me about this all week...
this is the sections know as the "guest blog" kay
its where i randomly talk about things i am really ticked off about.
today's topic -- SNOW
where is it? why is it taking so dam long to come to us canadians?
some say its global warming.. others say its just a really warm year.
i say.. I'm really sad. i love snow. snow is what makes skiing possible. blue mountain just laid off 50% of their employees this winter because of the shortage. the ski team also has no purpose. and so i'd like to end this stupid paragraph with a quote... “Sex is like snow, you never know how many inches you're going to get or how long it will last” enough said ;]

--> JESS

Interesting Fact

The beetle car on the cover of the Beatles's Abbey Road album was not meant to be there and it was only included in the picture as the owner was on vacation, and so the car could not be moved. Ironically enough, it's license plate, "LMW 281F" added to the "Paul is dead" rumours in later years

Now, it's time to say goodbye to all our company....
